The AAUW Educational Foundation has been awarded the "Best in America" Seal of Excellence by the Independent Charities of America (www.independentcharities.org).  ICA works to identify the best charities in the Unites States to help potential donors choose successful, effective causes and organizations for their money.  This seal confirms that the Educational Foundation meets the highest standards of accountability and programming, including those required to participate in the federal government's Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.  Of the approximately 1 million charities operating the the United States today, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this seal.
